Culdee History
In blind intoxication with his new authority, (which was not granted by
the Logos, but by those who could only grant authority over
themselves), he sought to raise himself above the circumpolar stars
and reign over all that the Logos had wrought.
He especially hated humanity, and grew jealous, because though immature,
human beings had been granted power by the Logos to be able to
traverse all the realms, and reach even to the love and knowledge of
the One.
Naturally such discord in the One Song could not advance in the peaceful world
of the celestials, but could only exist in the lower world of
transmigration, or becoming. So Lucifer and those who had given him
authority, were cast into a place called Perdition or Tartarus, where
they could reach into the regions of transmigration but no further.
Lucifer established his authority in Perdition, his hierarchy being a nine
fold mirror of the celestial realm with archons, powers and
principalities as it's rulers. These lost ones set out to rule the
world of transmigration, for authority is their intoxicant, and
rulership is their desire.
Their desire for authority over all beings, and their jealousy of humanity
compelled them to work tirelessly to insure that human beings never
know their true nature and heritage, and never find their way home.
The Logos, to assist humanity, granted three helps. First, an angel to
each person to serve as their guide. Second, among the terrestrial
daemons, were assigned those who would take mortal birth in order to
teach human beings their true nature and potential. Third, some
among humanity, who upon attaining the celestial hierarchy as holy
persons would be allowed to return to the world of transmigration to
assist their struggling family. These were those who had crossed the
world of transmigration and through their unquenchable love of God,
and by the grace of God, had shattered the bonds that held them to
it.
Many of these helpers are remembered among human beings by names like, Enoch,
Krishna, Dioces, Moses, Orpheus, Solomon, Thoth, Elijah, Lao tzu,
Siddhatha, Bodhidarma, Apollonius, Ezekiel, Heracles, Homer,
Socrates, Zardusht, and many others who's names have not been
recorded in famous histories.
Enoch, called Thoth by the Egyptians and Hermes by the Greeks, is the first
to be recorded to have lived his life in such perfect conformity to
the will of the Logos that the divine presence pervaded him and he
was taken by God into the celestial realm. Enoch was taken without
tasting death of the body.
Enoch was placed in the post vacated by Lucifer as commander of the angelic
legions and has ever since been known as the angel Metatron.
Between 600 and 500 B.C., three of the most famous of these helpers came into
the world and left their lessons with three great nations. Each one
taught human beings about human nature and the nature of the One
Song.
They taught about the source of Nature, and how people, by coming to know
that Nature, could achieve perfect peace and happiness. Lao tzu,
appeared in China, and in his teaching, emphasized the Logos itself,
(which in his language is called the Tao). He taught what was
required of a person to act in accordance with the Logos so that he
or she might find peace.
